Is There A Cure?

Unfortunately, there is currently no cure for metastatic sarcoma. However, with many new discoveries and advancements in research, everyday we are coming closer to uncovering one.

Progress made thus far through our research may not have provided us with a full-proof cure but has however helped significantly improve treatment of sarcomas as well as given us insights on how to treat more common cancers like breast and colon.  The genes that were first discovered through sarcoma research and investigation remain the most significant genes in cancer causation and regulation.

SARC, and our participating sarcoma experts, are united in our drive to improve the diagnosis and treatment of this disease and ultimately want to cure this illness. Research is the primary way for us to move forth the science and thus improve outcomes.
